Skinny Cow Creamy Iced Coffee Drink

ALEXANDRIA, VA – In an effort to bring additional drink reviews (other than beer), the frugal snobs decided to review the Skinny Cow Creamy Iced Coffee Drink. In classic frugal snobs style, we picked up this product as a “freebie” at our local Harris Teeter as part of their e-Vic program. The beverage itself packs 5 grams of protein per 8 oz. serving (one bottle) along with 120 calories with 20 form fat, 200 mg of sodium, no trans fat, 18 grams of sugar (HIGH!!!), and 2.5 grams of total fat. The overall taste did not meet expectations but this did serve well as a mixer for a dairy-based protein shake. So, it may make a nice “wake up” or “pep in step” mixer. The coffee flavor was relatively strong with little coming from sugar and what did come from sugar tasted artificial. Enjoy with caution.
