ALEXANDRIA, VA – The Star Hill Northern Lights IPA is a very strong offering in terms of an IPA and was a pleasant surprise to this reviewer. A traditional beer glass (Pilsner) would work nicely for this brew and I’d suggest that it be unchilled but that the beer itself be served cold (40* to 45* F).
By serving the beer in such a way, it will enhance the body of the beer and provide nice leave int he glass. The Star Hill Northern Lights IPA is a nice and perhaps an ideal choice for someone who is not exactly a novice in terms of selecting an IPA but, would instead perhaps be still new to the game. It comes in with a 6.2% ABV so, please do enjoy responsibly. In terms of food, I’d suggest enjoying the Star Hill Northern Lights IPA as a standalone beer. By taking this approach, the flavor profile is not altered and you have th4e luxury of enjoying this beer for all its full-bodied taste has to offer.
